What is a Virtual Career Fair?

A virtual career fair, sometimes called an online job fair, is on online event in which employers and job seekers can connect in a virtual environment, using chat rooms, teleconferencing, webcasts, webinars and/or email to exchange information about job openings. Jobs seekers upload resumes and may be matched with employers or may simply browse company “booths.” Like a traditional job fair, a virtual job fair has a limited duration.

    Job Seeker Information

This event is FREE and open to ALL in the United States military family. Upload a current résumé and come prepared to put your best foot forward! Visit employer websites in advance of the conference to educate yourself about available positions and submit applications. Being well versed in a company’s available positions will help you with discussions. Prepare a brief “elevator pitch” about yourself that you can share with recruiters.
