Provides coaching and counseling to business partners related to implementation.Conducts research as directed by attorneys. Identifies, analyzes, and researches legal issues within supported divisions, departments, and business units. Engages with supervising attorney to ask clarifying questions and refine the issues presented. May work directly with outside counsel to resolve issues.Organize and present complex legal issues accurately, yet succinctly; sometimes for audiences with limited legal background.May lead other GCO initiatives or participate in enterprise-wide initiatives as appropriate. May have responsibility to develop and/or maintain compliance and business processes.Required Job QualificationsCollege degree and paralegal certificate.5+ years related experience.Other Critical FactorsExperience with tools used to evaluate, interpret, and analyze legal information.Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.Exercises sound business acumen and judgment.Fosters teamwork and collaboration.Ability to draft policies and procedures for GCO and business clientsPrevious in insurance and/or securities industry is preferred;experience in researching issues related to contracting/procurement, privacy, AML, IT, and/or Business Continuity is desired
