Portfolio Manager - Municipal SMA program
Job DescriptionWorking with the Head of Municipal Bonds to develop, implement and manage a scalable municipal SMA program. This includes all aspects of the program including collaborating with various functional heads including those of technology, product development, marketing, compliance, trading, and credit. This person should also be prepared to market the SMA program to internal and external parties and distinguish it versus competitor's SMA offerings.ResponsibilitiesTake a leading role in the development off a municipal bond SMA. This includes working with our internal technology team, Investor Tools (Perform), trading, credit, compliance and other members of the municipal bond investment team.Have a strong working knowledge of and facility with the systems involved in creating, managing and growing the SMA platform i.e. Investnet, Perform, etc.Have a strong investment sense rooted in experience in managing municipal bond portfolios. Job DescriptionProvides support to the office of the Technology Executive Vice President of Advice & Wealth Management as well as the Leadership Team in the areas of business planning, operations planning, communications and other key initiatives. Help to proactively drive the Technology AWM agenda for the executive leader. Function as an extension of the leader and frequently represent the executive leader through meetings and personal interactions.Responsibilities- Interacts with senior leadership team on key strategic and tactical initiatives, ensuring follow through.- Provides strategic problem solving and initiates activities to maximize the organizational effectiveness of the organization.- Partner with Finance, Human Resources, General Counsels Office, Corporate Communications, etc. to deliver on critical tasks including, but not limited to:- Budget/expense management.- Business unit reviews.- Employee satisfaction planning.- Preparing presentations, communications and speeches for the senior leader, which may include presentations to the Executive Leadership Team, company's Board of Directors,regulatory agencies and employee/management groups; ensure preparation and pre-work readiness for meetings and facilitate productive and decisive meetings/conversations.- Represent the executive leader on key strategic and tactical initiatives to others.
