Paralegal - Finance
Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a paralegal in our Denver office to support our nationally-recognized public finance lawyers who represent governmental entities and 501(c)(3) exempt organizations in virtually every type of public finance transaction . The successful candidate will undertake a range of tasks and responsibilities that include:preparation of documentation for municipal bond offerings, including organizing, proofreading and assembling documentsconducting due-diligence; gathering and organizing financial data related to bond issuers from public sources, drafting documents and opinions; coordinating closing logisticspreparing and filing of UCC Financing Statements; researching industry databases, publicly-available information from local governments and other sources, and applicable lawRequired SkillsThis position requires someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and understands the cycle of a transaction. This position is located in Phoenix and will support attorneys in Media and Entertainment Law on constitutional law issues, advertising, commercial speech, intellectual property, and other matters. The selected individual will also support the American Indian Law practice, which encompasses a range of matters affecting tribal governance, sovereignty, business relationships with private and governmental entities, and the adoption of tribal laws addressing numerous issues.Required SkillsThis fast-paced position requires a high level of motivation, strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The qualified candidate will have good communication skills, be well organized, flexible and enjoy working collaboratively within an administrative team.
