Job Description

Anderson Mechanical Services Inc. (AMSI) is looking for a Project Manager who brings a professionalism, positivity and a history of success in the commercial construction industry. Experience in mechanical engineering, MEP subcontracting, or general contracting are required - but more importantly we are looking for a person who loves their job and enjoys working hard to achieve goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Confidently lead multiple commercial HVAC projects at a time - from beginning to end.
  • Work fluidly with your AMSI support team - including job superintendents and foremen, AMSI's Safety Director, the Pre-Construction & Project Executive, and administrative support staff.
  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all facets of the project to deliver it on time and under budget.
  • Lead by example and be a liaison that communicates to all internal and external parties involved on the job.
  • Develop project schedules; coordinate internal manpower and subcontractor manpower needs on each project.
  • Create, issue, and keep for record all job documentation - purchase orders, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change orders, progress billings, etc.
  • Deliver a high quality product to our customer.

Ideal Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business/finance preferred
  • Proven success in a sector of the commercial construction field
  • Software aptitude - key systems we use include Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam and CMiC Construction Software
  • Ability to utilize resources to achieve your goals including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
  • Efficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated confidence, integrity and work ethic
