Job Description

Weaver Consultants Group is looking to add a new Engineering Technician to our group in Fort Worth, TX. Our Engineering Technicians provide front-line support and quality assurance at landfill construction sites throughout Texas and the surrounding region. 



  • Construction monitoring and documentation of construction activities at solid waste landfill facilities including field inspection and testing of soils, geosynthetic liners, leachate and gas management systems, and other environmental control systems. On-site job training will be provided as necessary.
  • Responsible for assuring overall compliance with all applicable project specifications and construction drawings.
  • Good communication, writing, and organization skills necessary, including collaboration and coordination with senior staff and management and direction of support staff.
  • Must be self-starting and willing to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Soils laboratory coursework and interest in construction is a definite plus.



  • High School Diploma Required, Associates in Engineering preferred
  • Travel is required with expenses covered for out of town assignment
  • Must be Nuclear Density Gage certified
  • You may be asked to come into the office to assist the project manager with finalizing your project data and compiling the certification report.
  • Work could be 6-7 days per week with overtime anticipated during construction season.
  • Valid Driver's license and personal vehicle required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds required.
