Job Description

Weaver Consultants Group is seeking a Help Desk Assistant to support the IT needs of our Fort Worth, TX office. This person will interact with local staff in the office, as well as other IT staff members in Chicago, Naperville, and around the country. General duties and expectations are outlined below. 



  • Maintain confidently and professionalism with all private matters and information to include proprietary, employee, and company information that you have access.
  • Provide technical user application support required per request ticket originated by company employees.
  • Establish a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for configuring and deploying new computers for end users.
  • Assist in routine maintenance of company servers.
  • Assist in overseeing, maintaining, and coordinating internet access services for all Weaver Companies and affiliate company locations. This includes communications with and oversight of ISPs.
  • Create, remove, and maintain user accounts at domain level and within email system.
  • Assist in maintaining and posting of content to internal and external Weaver Companies and its affiliates web sites.
  • Communicate with and coordinate activities of external information services consultants at various office locations in a limited capacity.
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive organization wide hardware and software inventory.
  • Other projects as assigned.



  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field, or four years’ experience.
  • Two years’ relevant experience working in an IT Role.
  • Experience in a customer service-related capacity.
  • Thoroughness.
  • Strong communication skills.
