Qualifications

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager of New Restuarant Openings will manage and facilitate a successful training process for New Restaurant

Openings and will work closely with the Area Director and Culinary Department to ensure all new team members are receiving consistent, organized, and accurate training.

WHAT YOU DO MAKES A DIFFERENCE

  • Ensures Opening Leadership Team have all the support needed for successful hiring/opening
  • Checks in with Opening Leaders & Area Director on hiring progress each week leading up to the New Store
  • Works with HR to ensure all new Team Members are getting onboarded appropriately
  • Ensures that hiring standards of the Company are met in the Training Process
  • Support post opening until staffing and training needs are met and fulfilled
  • Determine shift needs based on volume
  • Coordinates travel, per diems, any specific procedures for Opening Team
  • Ensures readiness for all daily training days and timelines
  • Responsible for pre-opening training related expenses
  • Provides accurate budget accruals and allocations for pre-opening expenses in a timely manner to Accounting
  • Creates alternative/contingency plans based on volume or needs of the New Restaurant Opening including additional trainers and travel
  • Keep all training content updated and relevant
  • Responsible for overseeing the training execution of Openings
  • Develops trainers to continuously improve processes and procedures for enhancement of results
  • Conduct train the trainer sessions
  • Ensures Orientation is set up for NSO
  • Manages and distributes training schedule with the Training Team in a timely manner
  • Collaborates with the Training Department to optimize new team's knowledge, ability, and skill.
  • Promotes a fun and positive work environment with a strong focus on side-by-side instruction and development
  • Acts as a brand ambassador for the organization
