Marketing Communications Coordinator – Wexford, PA

 

We have a new opportunity for an individual to join our Support Team!  The Marketing Communications Coordinator will play a critical role in implementing marketing communications plans that align with corporate goals. As a member of the marketing team, he/she will work in a fast-paced environment with executive leadership, as well as MCP growth and technical teams. Working with marketing, you will implement tactics and meet established goals. Expectations

  • Learn the MCP business and establish strong relationships with MCP staff members
  • Partner with the strategic marketing program manager to develop and execute plans that support and drive business objectives
  • Tradeshow management responsibilities
    • Plan and execute trade shows at the national, regional and local level, which includes the following tasks:
      • Maintain show schedule
      • Oversee registration process
      • Coordinate event logistics including booth space floorplan, shipping, utilities, furnishings, etc.
      • Track conference expenses
      • Tracks trade show leads and conference follow-ups
      • Reserve and coordinate all hotel reservations
      • Arrange and coordinate all client dinners/hospitality suites
      • Prepare Trade Show information sheet and distribute to attendees
  • Content marketing responsibilities
    • Contribute content and outreach for website and social media campaigns including blog, frequent posts to trade magazines and social media outlets including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook
    • Publish news releases and blog articles
    • Negotiate with media outlets to secure agreements for stories and opinion/thought leadership articles
    • Create and update marketing materials using existing design templates in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Digital marketing responsibilities
    • Use WordPress to manage and refresh content on the company’s website
    • Use HubSpot to manage digital outreach campaigns such as contact management, marketing funnel, landing pages, blog, email campaigns, etc.
    • Assist with SEM/SEO efforts
  • Brand management responsibilities
    • Ensure alignment to MCP brand strategy and help support staff members related to brand support
  • Miscellaneous tasks   
    • Identify and assist with contract vehicles
    • Develop and assist with Statements of Qualification (SOQ’s) and presentations for MCP
    • Support the Admin Team when necessary with proposal development
    • Engage in day to day activity with public relations, press and agencies

 

Basic Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, English or liberal arts.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, advertising, corporate communications, public relations, media relations, brand marketing, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing campaigns or projects that focus on:
    • Marketing communications
    • Social media engagement
    • Media relations
    • Employee engagement communications
  • Understands elements of brand marketing and can effectively deploy them with moderate management direction
  • Experience working in the A/E/C industry is preferred.
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous business writing, editing and proofreading experience
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to drive your own vehicle to client locations and other MCP offices
