Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
  • Train and lead staff
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Strategy&'s Private Equity Value Creation (PEVC) team that services top Private Equity Clients and their portfolio companies in diverse deal environments.The PEVC team delivers operational assessments and value creation planning services, including pre-deal and confirmatory due diligence, as well as execution of large scale enterprise wide transformations post-deal.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying, leading and addressing client needs by:

  • Demonstrating a proven record of success in roles involving developing and supporting products in a technology industry (Enterprise software, SaaS, Internet, etc.);
  • Understanding technology-enabled business models, including SaaS/Software, Digital Media, Telecommunication Equipment, Consumer Electronics, Mobile Apps and Devices, and Internet Services;
  • Demonstrating thorough understanding of commercial, technology, and customer trends that influence the technology sector with a strong understanding of how a company's product technology integrates across the broader industry value chain and assessing the product or technical differentiation;
  • Demonstrating fundamental understanding of how technology products and platforms work, technology architecture and components that underpin the products, supporting technology infrastructure, and business operations; technical background is preferred but not required;
  • Demonstrating some experience in analyzing and implementing operational improvements in product design engineering, devops, product management, and other core operations within Tech Sector companies;
  • Demonstrating some familiarity with private equity investing and evaluating early and mid-stage investment opportunities;
  • Demonstrating clear verbal communication skills required to actively participate in client or target company management discussions, as well as subject matter specialist interviews; and,
  • Having comprehensive written communication skills to synthesize findings into client deliverables to articulate diligence findings to the executive stakeholders.
