Job Summary:

 

The Project Manager (PM) Supply and Demand Chain will be responsible to support the optimization of regional and global supply and demand chain processes and tools through effective and efficient project management. The role will support the implementation and governance of regional and global initiatives that will lead to the optimization of costs, network wide inventory, customer service and capacity utilization across the organization. The role will be responsible to help lead and support idea generation workshops through the implementation of supply and demand chain optimization work streams. The role will support the implementation, reporting, and governance of regional and global KPI standards. The position will collaborate together with team members from Finance, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Product Management.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

PM will manage and execute to project time lines and deliverables that will be focusing on project milestone dates. The PM will need to utilize analytical tools as well as common project management tools to identify potential delays, roadblocks, and risks that will need to be mitigated up to and including escalation of potential risks to project executive sponsorship.

 

  • Develop, manage, and publish project time lines and status reporting
  • Support project implementation and develop tools, processes, and governance that drive the optimization of process efficiencies, global transparency, order to cash cycle time reductions, and customer service levels
  • KPI establishment, implementation, reporting governance, and driving continuous improvement

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing supply and demand chain preferably in consulting, production planning, material planning, and / or demand planning
  • Willing and able to travel (up to 30%) 
  • Proficient English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Project management skills and experience in working across functions, multiple geographic locations and cultures 
  • Quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; MS Project experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience supporting global, matrixed organizations
  • Certification in project management
