In this senior level engineering role, you will be focused on improving the out-of-box and long term quality of our windows.You will have ownership over the design and quality of a total Value Stream and be responsible for delivering year over year SQDC improvements to the products you support. In this role, you will use Lean Sigma tools and methodologies to turn data into implemented solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize statistical analysis tools (SPC, Vartran, Minitab, Lean Sigma) to identify and drive quality improvement initiatives

  • Lead projects from inception to commercialization

  • Utilize data visualizations tools such as Power BI to influence manufacturing partners and promote data driven and quality focused decision making.

  • Drive implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies that improve process control and measurement capabilities

  • Provide frequent verbal and written updates to the project status, risks to timeline and/or budget, and recommendations to management team

  • Develop concepts for cost reduction opportunities, manufacturing flexibility, and SKU reduction

  • BS in Engineering, Math/Statistics or equivalent engineering experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality or Process Engineering

  • Able to process and interpret data from a statistical perspective

  • Strong project management experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of design specification and documentation methods

  • Self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity

  • Expected travel of < 10%

    Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience delivering BI reporting solutions and dashboarding in Power BI

  • Advanced Excel experience including use of Power Query

  • Experience in process improvement efforts (i.e. kaizen, etc.)

  • Lean Sigma Black Belt

  • Proficiency with Autodesk suite

  • Experience in SPC environment
