Job Description:

The Senior Healthcare Analyst has primary responsibility for fully supporting CCGroup’s ongoing healthcare business intelligence and data analytics goals and objectives. CCGroup is seeking an individual who is skilled in the use of Excel and SQL databases for data analysis. This individual must have:

  • Expert knowledge of Excel – in particular the use of pivot tables;
  • Strong knowledge of SQL – Formulate analytic questions as database queries;
  • Strong knowledge of statistics;
  • Ability to understand and facilitate requirement sessions and document analytic requirements for a project;
  • Desirable (but not required):
  • Programming: Excel VBA, Python, R
  • Business intelligence tools: Qlikview, Tableau
  • Experience working with healthcare data

Responsibilities:

  • Provides consulting and analytic services to leadership.
  • Provides technical support, mentoring, and training to less senior analysts.
  • Participate in planning meetings to understand project requirements
  • Perform analytic tasks for internal or customer specific projects
  • Deliver reports in pre-defined formats
  • Ensure accuracy of reports
  • Comfortable with frequent changes in analytic requirements
  • Manages multiple concurrent client or internal data analytic projects to completion
  • Develop understanding of CCGroup products and troubleshoot client analytic issues
  • This position will not have any direct supervisory responsibilities, however, technical leadership is expected.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a rigorous, quantitative discipline, such as health services research, actuarial science, statistics, or economics OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field is required.
  • Formal informatics training a plus.
  • Minimum five (5) years of data analyst or related experience, including proficiency with analytical software or equivalent related education.

Full-time exempt position; salary commensurate with job experience; performance-based bonus; competitive benefits; Valid U.S. work permit required. No relocation. New grads with degrees in public health, health care administration and/or business are encouraged to apply.
