Job Description

This role will be responsible for supporting relationships with key strategic media partners (e.g., Facebook, Google/YouTube, Adobe, etc.) to grow St. Jude's awareness and fundraising initiatives. This role requires the candidate to work to support and expand partnerships through collaborative and innovative growth initiatives. The right person for this role has strong thought leadership, execution, relationship management, technical, and financial decision-making skills. Role requires candidate to work on discovering and vetting different partnership opportunities, navigating internal approval processes, and negotiating agreements. This person should have a high degree of knowledge regarding digital media, digital product, event operations, project management, possess excellent communication skills and be detail-oriented in their approach. Other elements critical to success in this role include curiosity, eagerness to learn, and experience working cross-functionally within a complex organization (e.g., Marketing, Product, Technology, Finance, and Legal). Finally, candidate will need to think big and learn quickly. In this role, the candidate will report directly to the Director, Media Partnerships, to help support building and developing the team.

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 8+ years overall experience, with several years of business development experience with a media/technology focus.
  • Demonstrated partnerships with large clients and proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients and internal partner teams.
  • Strong partner engagement skills with the ability to develop relationships and maximize existing partner channels.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently, with flexibility to adapt seamlessly to rapid shifts in direction/strategy.
  • Ability to identify problems, quickly devise feasible solutions, disseminate the appropriate information to relevant stakeholders and ultimately bring about timely resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to tailor messages for both business and technical audiences; comfort in addressing informal team meetings and delivering prepared presentations to executives/external audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on technical projects, specifically in translating business objectives/priorities for product management and engineering colleagues.
  • Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from data, quickly synthesizing them into actionable steps supporting a broader strategic purpose.
  • Willingness to travel.
