We are looking for a Salesforce Techno-functional Program Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning methodologies to support the Vertex Pharmaceuticals Guidance and the Patient Support organization. As the Salesforce Techno-functional Program Manager, you will have extensive technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, specifically Salesforce Service Cloud, and will also have strong business analysis, application design, and project management skills. This person will work with and across IT and Business teams, communicating requirements, project and organizational change management, and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and participate in the planning, design, development, and delivery of effective business applications.
* Participate in design sessions and review sessions with technical and business partners, including all levels of management.
* Establish and maintain customer relationships, interacting at the technical level, as required.
* Work with technical architect, developers and UX experts to collaborate on technical direction of systems analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
* Engage Salesforce and managed service partner to discover and evaluate newer technologies as potential solutions to support the Patient Services roadmap.
* Develop a detailed project plan, in alignment with the established project management methodology, to monitor and track progress.
* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification methodologies.
* Coordinate and track dependencies between multiple, simultaneous projects.
* Manage project risk through appropriate engagement of stakeholders and steering committee.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts in defining and documenting complex business requirements and processes.
* Manage open decisions and project issues through documentation on a detailed log.
* Ensure all project members have clear goals and accountabilities

* 8-10 years' experience in business analysis or project management in a complex IT systems environment.
* Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud required; experience in Salesforce Communities, Marketing Automation (Marekto and/or Marketing Cloud), Cloud Telephony a plus.
* Experience working with and supporting a Pharmaceutical Patient Services organization
* Salesforce certification preferred (eg., Salesforce Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant)
* Experience with large scale project management preferred.
* Bachelor's degree; Advanced degree typical/preferred.
* Vendor management and solution design experience required.
* Excellent decision making skills and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure. Excellent skills in presentation, communication and senior leadership engagements, including the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
