On demand, RN to respond to urgent calls regarding acute issues using digital and cellular technology to provide an assessment and care based on a provider’s orders. 

• Responds to telemedicine calls within the established time frame.
• Conducts a head to toe assessment of the patient utilizing appropriate documentation, and gathers pertinent health history information to relay to the APP.
• Establishes contact with the APP via software technology and gives a through history to the provider based on the patient’s chief complaint and the physical assessment findings.
• Facilitates additional physical assessments as per the providers’ direction utilizing the video conferencing and diagnostic equipment that has telemedicine software capabilities. (derma-scope, Smart heart EKG and a stethoscope with recording capabilities).
• Documents verbal orders from the APP and initiates when applicable.
• Documents all aspects of telemedicine visit and relays information back to the On Call nurse.
• Educates patient and staff on follow up care.
• Performs other duties as may be required.
• Complies with all agency policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of New York
• Experience preferred: minimum of 3 years of critical care and/or emergency department nursing
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR).
• Valid NYS driver’s license
